Frequently Asked Questions

The website features a growing archive of techniques for Brazilian jiu-jitsu by Renzo Gracie and his team of teachers. Besides, Gallerr Academy features a curriculum of self-defense, nutrition, supplementation, additional exercises, recovery and motivation.

Renzo Gracie has built his career around the application of efficient BJJ principles in different spheres, and, alongside Gallerr Academy, he seeks to transmit the essence of a fighting style that has helped him become one of the world's most respected athletes and teachers.

Can I see the range of video content before signing up?

You can browse and search the site periodically to see the level, the style, the recommendation, the teacher and the description of each lesson -- all organized into days and weeks. Apart from the free videos, you cannot view any more content within the platform before enrolling, but you can take an experimental class to help you decide.

Will the content change over time?

Every week there is a new batch of lessons made available. Subjects will vary, and the number of lessons may vary as well.

What are your subscription terms?

You may opt to sign up for a monthly plan or a yearly plan.

Yearly subscription plans offer a substantial discount, and you will make only one payment with your credit card. At the end of 12 months from the sign-up date, your plan will be renewed automatically. We do not offer options for reimbursement or pro-rata reimbursement for yearly subscriptions.

Monthly subscriptions offer an easy way to enroll. You will pay for the first month when you sign up, and then monthly payments will be made on due date until the cancellation of your subscription. So the minimum period you are signing up for is one month, and you may cancel at any time through your account.

So, just to clear it up, I have total control of my account and of any other payments you can charge?

Exactly. If you choose a monthly payment plan, we will make monthly renewal charges until you cancel your plan through your account; and, in the case of the yearly plan, there will be no more charges made until a year has passed. There is no minimum period, and you can cancel your plan's renewal at any time.

Your cancellation will take effect on the following due date; therefore, if you cancel mid-month, you will continue to have access to the content until the end of the month you were charged for. We do not offer reimbursements or credits for partially enjoyed months.

Monthly renewals are charged monthly, so:

if you sign up on the 15th, a charge will be made on the 15th of each month;

if you sign up on the 31st, a charge will be made on the last day of each month (the 31st, 30th, or the last day of that February).

What happens if I want to change credit cards?

You can do that within your account.

What happens if my card expires and my renewal payment doesn't go through?

You will receive an email inviting you to provide new card details to process the payment.

What happens if you change the price for the monthly subscription?

You will continue to pay the price you agreed to. Only new customers will pay the new price.

What happens if I forget my password or user ID?

When you try to log in, you can request a link via email to reset your password.

I am not receiving your emails.

Check your spam filters and make sure to add us to your list of safe senders.

How do I watch the videos?

As you can see with the videos on the main page and the test lesson, just select the playback and the videos will be played. Performance will be based on the speed of your internet connection and browser, among other things. So be sure to check out the test videos first to ascertain that you like what you see.

There is a new video available, but I cannot watch it. You are telling me that I need to sign in to watch it, but I'm already logged in.

Before getting in contact with us, try to log out, clean your browser's cache and then log back in.

I'm having trouble watching the videos.
